Immersed in St. Ignatius

I usually make it out to the Loyola Press website every day to check out their wonderful three-minute retreat.  But the last week has been rather tumultuous, and even though I needed to be praying more than ever, in hindsight I missed plenty of opportunities, which included taking just three minutes to use this devotional.  I’m sure you can relate.

Today, I went to Loyola’s site and learned that they had come up with a really great way to get immersed in Ignatian Spirituality.  They’re calling it 31 Days of St. Ignatius, and even though today (Sunday) marks the third day, you can easily catch up.

Since I started Making All Things New, I’ve written quite a bit about St. Ignatius and the spirituality that developed around his writings.  Upon learning about them about four years ago, I began making retreats and studying Ignatian Spirituality.  Now, it’s ingrained into my daily life, and I  am a better person because of it.

I hope you’ll join me by taking a little time throughout the month of July and learn about this great man and his spiritual legacy.  Without a doubt, if you put some of what you will no doubt learn into practice, it will make a positive impact on your life and the lives of those around you.  Give it a try.  Here’s the link. Once the page opens, click on download the pdf now.

By the way, you don’t have to be Catholic, religious, spiritual or any other label to get something out of Ignatian spirituality.

I'm passionate about helping people realize that God wants to make something new of them and bring about a permanent transformation in their lives: body, mind, and spirit.
