Life Moves Fast

idylewild

Today, my family and I are marking the one year anniversary of my mom’s passing.

In one sense, its stunning to me how quickly these months have rolled by.

The memories of last March and early April are still vivid in my mind.  Maybe they’ll fade over time, but maybe not…

I was speaking to one of my brothers several weeks ago, and we talked about the continued loss of so many from what’s known as the greatest generation.  They were truly that.  They were called to make tremendous sacrifices from their earliest days, and they helped the United States in ways that we may never fully comprehend.  Life moves fast, for them and for us.

As each day begins, we have an opportunity to do our part to make this world a better place.  The world needs us, our country needs us, our communities need us, our families need us.  What can we do tomorrow that we didn’t do today?

I'm passionate about helping people realize that God wants to make something new of them and bring about a permanent transformation in their lives: body, mind, and spirit.

Paul, thank you for sharing your thoughts on the loss of your mother last year. My prayers are with you at this time.

Paul, thanks for sharing about this difficult time, but also for being so hopeful. Your challenge reminds us not to give up and hide, but to do something for the Greater Glory of God! You are in my prayers.

Thanks Lois! Lately, I’ve encountered so many people who lack hope. We all need to reach out to them, because there is so much good in the world, despite life’s difficulties.
