I’m really excited about something I learned earlier today. The folks at Loyola Press are getting ready to celebrate the Feast of St. Ignatius on July 31st, and they want us to join them.
In order to do that, they thought they would give everyone an opportunity to learn more about St. Ignatius, his spirituality, and his legacy. Anyone who reads my blogs on a regular basis know how much I love Ignatian spirituality. I’ve been deepening my own relationship with God through it for the last four years or so.
Following the guidance of this great saint has made a tremendous difference in my life. I’m convinced it can be the same for you, if you are willing to give it a try.
So, beginning this Sunday, July 1st, there will be tons of great stuff posted every day at www.ignatianspirituality.com. If you read my posts regularly, I guarantee you’ll like what you find at their site beginning Sunday. Best of all, there’s nothing to buy, no books to read, no test at the end. Just good spiritual insights into all the many gifts St. Ignatius left us. Ultimately, St. Ignatius wouldn’t want this to be about him. Rather, he challenges us to keep our focus on God, asks us to find God in all things, and reminds us to do everything for God’s greater glory.
Join the learning. Join the fun. Join the spiritual growth. What’s not to like?
St. Ignatius of Loyola, pray for us.
