I don’t know about you, but things seem to be moving at break-neck speed lately.
It seems like I simply move from thing to thing, and at the end of the day, I shake my head wondering if I did anything really worthwhile.

We are really blessed in this country with some beautiful places to catch a little rest. Gratefully, most of them don’t come with a big admission cost. We can take a walk on the beach, hike a local trail, run on a mountain path. Soon, you can slip into some cross-country skis and enjoy the peace and quiet of a newly fallen snow. No, it won’t be too long for that…
Well, I just want to remind you that if it feels like your stress level is building, and you’re not your usual happy self, it’s time to take a break. If you don’t have the means to go anywhere, take a walk around the block. Get out and do some work in your own back yard. Or, if you’re so inclined, get a good book and hang out on the sofa.
Whatever it is for you, be kind to yourself this weekend. Let it start tomorrow 🙂
