I just got back from a trip to Chicago, and it was cold, cold, cold there.
We’ve had it pretty easy the past few winters, and it appears we aren’t so lucky this year. Well, in the end I guess it will make us appreciate spring all the more.
Throughout my trip, I was impressed by how many talented people I come in contact with each day. It’s sometimes easy to lose sight of the gifts others bring to the table, focusing on our own ideas and wishes for a project, rather than being open to how others might think differently.
We all have gifts and talents God has given us, and we need to use them. That being said, we also need to let others use theirs too. How much more can we accomplish when we honor each other through our collaboration.
If you’ve been struggling with something lately, why not take it to someone else and get their perspective and insights. Hearing from them might be just the thing you need to take you to the next level, maybe even bring success.
Give it a try. See what happens. 🙂
