Time To Get Moving

I don’t know how it is where you live, but around my area,  the beautiful weather is calling.  Get outside, and get moving.

I like to get my exercise outside, rather than in the gym.  Walking/Jogging are my two favorite, and taking advantage of the long country roads like this one in my area, I have my pick of routes.

For me, being outside gives me a chance to clear my head of all the stuff that take up the bulk of my days.  

Just this morning, I paused for a few minutes at the big pond I pass every day.  There’s something peaceful about standing by a body of water.  Not all the birds have come back yet, but soon the pond will be teeming with life.  So, in the quiet of that place, I had the chance to think about my day and what I needed to accomplish.  After about ten minutes, I was on my way, ready to tackle the things ahead.

How about you?  Have you started to get out and get moving?  Don’t worry if you’ve been waiting.  Start today.  Take a walk around the block, or make your way to a local park.  It’s time to come out of your winter hibernation and  get moving.  Your heart will thank you for it!
