Transformation is never easy. It takes a lot of work and it takes time. It’s important to realize that we need to have balance in our lives for us to truly be the people God calls us to be.
Over the last few years, my understanding of how critical this balancing act has really led me to create this blog, Making All Things New. It’s not really ok to work only on one part of your life, let’s just say your “mind” and then neglect your “body” or “spirit.”
For us to be fully who God wants us to be, we need to work in all three areas for us to be in balance. I know this can be very difficult, but now after a whole lot of effort, I think I’m more in balance than I’ve ever been. Interestingly, many people can sense this about me, and want to know how I’ve acceived it. To find the answer to that question, read my postings and check out the various pages of this blog.
“Behold, I am doing something new. Now,
it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
In the desert, I make a way,
in the wasteland, rivers.”
Isaiah 43:19
