Even though I've lived here for over twenty years, my body has never adjusted to it, and it zaps me of a ton of energy. Ah, the joys of living in the Mid Atlantic states :)
Today, I'm off on a little excursion, and it's going to be a great day. My good mood was heightened by a great walk as the sun was coming up. Later, I'll be visiting a friend's retreat center for a little r & r. I'm even bringing my dog Maggie along for the ride. She doesn't get out much any more, but she's always up for a little road trip.
I hope you'll take a little time this weekend to get out and get some r & r yourself. Isn't it great that you really don't have to go very far or spend a lot of money to enjoy yourself. Jump on-line and look for something to do. Maybe there's an exhibit at your local museum that you haven't had the chance to see. I'm sure you're local farmer's market has something that you've never tried before. Several years ago, I was visiting a farm stand and I tasted a Mangus pear for the first time . Now, I excitedly look forward to their return each year. What a special treat.
Well, no matter where you live, I hope today is a good day for you. In fact, I wish that the whole weekend will be filled with good things for you and those that are near to you. Be at peace!
